We are the same

Saturday at the church there was Women's Tea.  It was a good turn out, with so many enjoying the goodies and the fellowship.  Deb Sharp spoke and Deana Irvine.  Both shared about their insights of what and how missions has impacted their lives.

I think the biggest message that stood out was that we are all women going through so much of the same things that it doesn't matter if we are here in Flagstaff AZ or on the other side of the world.  We all need to be fed spiritually.  We all can help one another, and one of the biggest ways we can do that is through prayer.  We can pray for each other. We can stop and think if we are having trouble with something that maybe another sister in Christ is going through the similar things as you.  Take that moment that you are leaning on God to ask Him to help another.

Through prayer we can help each other.  It doesn't require much and only takes a few moments.  There is a prayer book that has been developed to help us pray for the woman and their families that are far away from home.  If you haven't picked one up yet, swing by the church and someone can help lead you to one.

Have a blessed beginning of the week.

  1. Awesome time sharing what encourages us at Tuesday Summer Women's Fellowship. Getting to know some nice women there and excited to know more.
