Eternity

Earthly life is short but eternity is forever.  With that in mind, we all need to stand ready to meet the Lord.  Heaven is an actual place, not some mystical golden-gated wisp of cumulus clouds topped with angels.  The most majestic places, ideals, and valued treasures can't compare to what God has prepared for those who love Him.  And the best part about heaven is the One who rules and reigns there.  

Right now, Jesus prepares your eternal home.  And one day all of life's problems and trials will vanish in the light of an eternity with Him.

There is more than enough room in my Father's home.  If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?  When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.  John 14:2-3

In the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but to also to all who have loved His appearing.     2 Timothy 4:8
