Challenge yourself each day to have an Attitude of Gratitude. Be thankful for what you have even the not so good parts. By being thankful you will find the joy in it and then your frown could turn into a smile preparing you to be there for someone else.
Encourage others with good, positive affirming words that are uplifting. Show kindness to others even if you are not in the mood. (it will help change your mood in turn)
Give grace to others. There are reasons for someone not to smile or seem happy and maybe they come off in an ugly mood. We don't know what is going on in their life, but showing them kindness despite will make a world of difference to them and could turn a frown into a smile.
Do little things for others, smile, a hug, write a little note, run an errand etc.
Be creative in how you can bring encouragement into each others lives.
