(1 John 4:7-8, 11-12) Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love....Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
If something I'm asked to do for another feels burdensome;
If, yielding to an inward unwillingness, I avoid doing it,
Then I know nothing of Calvary Love.
If the praise of man elates me and his blame depresses me;
If I cannot rest under misunderstanding without defending myself;
If I love to be lloved more than to love,
Then I know nothing of Calvary Love.
If the burden my Lord asks me to bear be not the burden of my heart's choice,
And I fret inwardly and do not welcome His will,
Then I know nothing of Calvary love.
If I covet anyplace on earth but the dust at the foot of the cross,
Then I know nothing of Calvary Love.

Bow and silently thank God that He is a God of Love. Just sit with a heightened awareness of Him and His unwavering love for you. Listen to what He might be speaking to you during this time. Pray that you would let go of anything that you've made to be the unpardonable sin; ask God for help to forgive yourself. Then pray for God to show you specifically where He might be calling you to take His love after have had time with Him.
Go today grounded in the promise of His Love.
Thank the God of all gods,
His Love never quits
