So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?"
Hebrews 13:6
Remember when you were a kid and you had a school project due? The whole thing seemed overwhelming until your father said, "Let me help you with that." He listened to your ideas, then helped you make the necessary purchases. Finally, the day arrived to put together yor project. Instead of doing the work for you, your father simply made his presence known as you worked--encouragring you with, "That's great, honey!" and "Wow, I can hardly wait to see this whe it's done!" His words boosted your confidence and spurred you on.
Your heavenly Father is a "That's great, honey" kind of encourager. Talk about building your confidence! When you're up against a tough situation, He's standing right there, speaking positive words over you, telling you you've got what it takes to be the best you can possibly be. And while He won't take the reins--He wants you to learn from the experience, after all--He will advise you as you go.
What are you facing today? Do you need a helper? God is the very best. Just knowing He's there will ease your mind and invigorate you for the tasks you face.
Father I'm so glad You stand nearby, whispering words of encouragement. You're the best helper possible. Thank you for taking my fears and replacing them with godly confidence.
