Saturday-Retreat

There was a very long long line of youth waiting for coffee.  Some of us had to do without yummy good coffee until later in the day.

This happy group was successful in getting a yummy cup of coffee!

We were surrounded by God's glory.

God created such a beautiful golden yellow leaf.

Once again we were lead in some amazing worship songs.

Later some decided to rest and enjoy the outdoors...

Others took a peaceful moment for reflection

Some chatted and made new friends.

Our speaker really offered a new fresh insight and perspective on how we can reach out to others and share the gospel.  Be creative!  Find new ways to reach others, tell a story.  There are many people in others countries that can not have a bible in their possession.  They desire the word of God just like you and me but instead they have to learn the stories and really write them on their hearts so they can share with others....sort of like being a "walking bible".

The other session was on Passion. Do you have a passion?  Passion is convicting and contagious.  We must be willing to be vulenerable to have passion.  Are you passionate enough to die for the gospel?  One of the activities we did was to get with a partner and ask what our passions were, share about them and pray on how God could use our passion to help spread the gospel.

I think the first two sessions really stirred in our hearts and minds.....
