Saturday's Coffee Connection was more than just "coffee and hanging out and chatting". We listened to two beautiful women share their story of being a missionary. (As you scroll down to view the pictures, our speakers pics are just a bit bigger so you will notice them) Nicole lives in Poland and Jesse in Kenya. They really left us challenged to re-think just how "busy" we all really are in our days. The reality is we are all missionary s, we all are in contact with many different people throughout our day, giving us opportunity to share God's news with them. They do not look at being a missionary as a "job" it's just their life. It was motivating to hear how each of them work it all into their family. Maybe while folding laundry they talk to a young person and use that time to speak truth into their life, or while preparing dinner or bathing your littles. Life happens so happen with it.
Of course there was time for good conversation, yummy food and great coffee drinks!
